Manufacturer Warranty

At FootWave, we provide a 12-month manufacturer warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty is available to both individual (B2C) and business (B2B) customers and ensures that your product is free from defects.

1. Scope of the Warranty

  • The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
  • The warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

2. Warranty Coverage

The manufacturer warranty covers the following:
  • Factory defects or flaws in materials and workmanship.
  • Manufacturing errors affecting the product’s function.
This warranty does not cover:
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow the product’s usage instructions.
  • Normal wear and tear or damage from external factors like water, heat, or physical damage.
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs or modifications.

3. For Individual Customers (B2C)

  • No Product Return Required: In case of a defective product, B2C customers do not need to return the product. You are required to destroy the product (e.g., by cutting it in half) and submit a photo as proof during the return process.
  • Claim Process: To file a warranty claim, complete the return form at FootWave Returns or download the form as a PDF from FootWave Returns PDF. Submit the completed form via email to returns@footwave.com.
  • Refund or Replacement: Once the claim is approved, you will receive either a full refund or a replacement product, depending on your preference and product availability.

4. For Business Customers (B2B)

  • Direct Warranty Claims: In case of a direct claim (from dealer to FootMedical), product returns are handled according to the guidelines in the Business Terms of Cooperation. Product returns will be agreed upon individually.
  • Indirect Warranty Claims: If a claim is indirect (from a consumer to a dealer, and then from the dealer to FootMedical), we will review the claim on a case-by-case basis.
  • Credit Memo or Replacement: Upon approval of the claim, business customers can choose to receive a Credit Memo or a replacement product. The decision to return the product will be made on a case-by-case basis based on the agreement between the dealer and FootMedical.

5. Exclusions

The following scenarios are not covered under this manufacturer warranty:
  • Defects caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow the usage instructions.
  • Damages caused by external factors such as moisture, extreme temperatures, or physical damage.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or attempts to fix the product.

6. Warranty Claim Process

You will receive a response with further instructions within 3 business days.

7. Refund or Replacement

  • For Individual Customers: Once your claim is approved, you will receive a refund or a replacement product within 7 business days.</
